Surface Price Surfaces

Alex Wilhelm reporting on the recent Microsoft Surface pricing discovery:

[T]he cheapest tablet is $1,001.

He then goes on to state the obvious:

Far too expensive.

This is exactly why stupid predictions should not be made about unshipped, unpriced, unspec'd products.
